The factory in Lyngdal was established in 1952 under the
name ”Fibofabrikken”, and produced lacquered boards for the shipbuilding
industry. In 1996 Alloc introduced a world news; the first laminate
floor with a mechanical looking system that made it possible to install
without glue. A floor that is installed quicker, and above all – guarantees you a perfect result every time. This was not just a new product, but created a whole new product category, a revolution in the flooring business.
